EGO - My 6th album will be out on November 2nd.
I am beyond excited to share this body of work that I have been working on for the last two years. This pop album is really special to me, I have been inspired by so many artists, so many great souls who kept on releasing music during the lockdown.
I think I have never worked so hard on an album before.
The first single CONTROL will be out on October 14th.
I will share in one month these 11 songs that I'm so proud of. I speak about how love turned me into another person, the one I never thought I would be. Control is about losing your bearings, when you are so devoted to someone. It's scary, right ? This ambivalent feeling floating in your body and you just don't know how to express it properly. I tried to find the words and sing on them with all my heart.
I want to thank first my incredible producer @tombaileymusic. You always manage to transform a terrible voice memo in beautiful chords. I am so glad I found you and your genious ears always impress me. I know this album wasn't an easy process but I'm sure it was all worth it.
I want to thank my love for always supporting me, even when I'm exhausted of these recording sessions. You know this is hard work and you are always the one who keeps on pushing me to record new music. You are an endless source of inspiration.
I want to thank @clementguegan, my dear friend who is the best video director I know. You are capable of everything and I am deeply convinced the greatest things are coming for you. Thank you for shooting this beautiful cover, the Control music video, which will come out the same day as the music release. Your patience and talent is inexplicable.
I want to thank my friends, the closest ones, @mathildesciarli @madebylivia @ad_lee_b @ori.porti @joffreycpp @manue.btd @laetiniki @zephyr_noire for always being here for me. I am blessed to have you.
I want to thank my family, I have just made yesterday a listening party. I wanted to share the album before it's out with them, hear what they think about this new one. It's always a very important time to me. They never see me when I'm in the studio so it's a big deal for me to show them another side of me.
To finish, I want to thank you guys for changing my life. I would have never been able to know this happiness without you. You really allowed me to live the way I wanted to. So thank you thank you thank you.
